Jakeman, Chief Court lnspector, Kuala Lumpur. conducted the prosecution, while the accused was defended by Mr. K. K. Benjamin. The court house was crowded with Malays. Raja Suleiman gave evidence of the manner in which the coupons were distributed, at Jenderam, by the accused, on the day in question. This witntes was in the box the whole day and underwent severe cross-examination ty the lawyer for the defence.
